Marianne Bargiel

Marianne Bargiel, MTA, is currently doing a Ph. D. in research in psychology (Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières). She is especially interested in the neuropsychological processes related to music and affect in psychopathology. She has worked with various populations : intellectual disabilities, pervasive developmental disorders, physical disabilities, dementias, psychiatric issues and mental health. She is the adjunct director of the Institut québécois de musicothérapie, a private organization which provides internship supervision and continuing education for music therapists.
