ChiChen Sophia Lee
ChihChen Sophia Lee, PhD, MT-BC is currently the Director of Music Therapy at the Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Weatherford, Oklahoma (USA). As a native of Taiwan, Dr. Lee has provided various workshops and in-service presentations to healthcare professionals and educators, as well as presenting, including the provision of Continuing Education for Music Therapists workshops, at regional, national, and international music therapy and expressive art therapy conferences. In addition, she serves on the Academic Program Approval Committee of American Music Therapy Association. Dr. Lee's research foci include Music Therapy Distance Education, human psychophysiological reactions and processes to music stimuli, international music therapy, and ethnomusicology - socio-cultural perspective. Clinically, Dr. Lee's passion falls in the fields of long-term care, hospice care, early intervention, and rural at-risk youth. Email: lees@swosu.edu
